Another old time favorite of Anna's. One she made often in college, and still makes for a "comfort food" meal for her family.

1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb hamburger, cooked and drained
1 can of white shoepeg corn, drained
1 can of diced tomatoes, drained
1 can of green beans, drained

6-8 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
butter to potatoes, to taste
salt for potatoes, to taste

milk for potatoes, to thin potatoes
cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook hamburger and drain. Add onion and garlic. Cook to soften onion. Add corn and tomatoes. Mix well and place in the bottom of a prepared 9x13 baking dish.

Drain green beans and place over the top of the hamburger mixture.

Peel, wash, cut, boil, drain and mash the potatoes. Add Salt, pepper, butter and milk to taste. Drop the seasoned mashed potatoes over the top of the green beans. Cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
