Orange Glazed Carrots

This makes a very nice vegetable side dish of fresh carrots. Another of Anna's favorites.


4 c sliced carrots
1/4 cup margerine
1-1/2 tbls sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1 dash of ground cloves (or 8 whole cloves)
1/4 cup orange juice

Cook Carrots until tender in boiling salted water- drain. Melt margerine in pan. Stir in sugar, cornstarch, salt and ground cloves. Add orange juice, stirring until thickened. Pour over hot carrots. Garnish as desired.
