Aunt Bess' Cheese Pie

Another old family recipe from my Mother's aunt. A traditional chess pie from eastern Arkansas.

4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup butter, softened

1 tlbs flour
1/4 tsp salt

1 9 inch pie shell, home-made or store-bought


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all the filling ingredients, and mix well with a wisk or hand mixer. Pour into the un-cooked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees, for about 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes our clean. Serve.
