In a mixing bowl stir together the flour, sugar, baking
powder, and salt. In another bowl combine the egg, milk,
and oil. Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture
all at once. Stir the mixture just till blended but
still slightly lumpy.
Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto a hot, lightly
greased griddle (or about 1 tablespoon of batter for
about dollar-sized pancakes).
Cook till the pancakes are golden brown, turning
to cook the second side when the pancakes have a bubbly
surface and slightly dry edges.
